**Entity and activity description**
This is a full-time position based at our Air Liquide Advanced Materials (ALAM) Singapore Manufacturing facility. The Health, Safety, Environmental and Security (HSES) Specialist, reporting to the HSES Operations Manager, and will provide assistance to the ALAM Singapore Manufacturing Facility, help achieve Corporate/Site objectives.

In this role, the work will focus on the health, safety and well-being of employees and contractors through prevention of injuries/illnesses and protection of the environment. This role will resolve issues through immediate action or longer-term planning. This individual will assist in providing technical expertise in all areas of safety, health, environmental, security, transportation and industrial hygiene compliance, policy, and excellence.

**Missions and Responsibilities**
- _Provides technical HSES support for on-going and future projects, problem solving, incident investigations including site inspections and audits, and activities;_
- _Develops and provides contractor, visitor, and new employee training and other training;_
- _Participates in job hazard analysis/risk assessment, process hazard analysis, management of change and pre-startup safety reviews;_
- _Assists with the development and maintenance of site chemical management and chemical Right-to-Know systems and policies (including Safety Data Sheets);_
- _Organizes and maintains HSES performance, compliance, policy and procedural information including electronic backup of critical information;_
- _Researches and keeps informed of pertinent information and developments in areas such as _-_ _local regulations, code of practices and other applicable international standards as applicable_
- _Facilitate or participates in incident investigations for root cause analysis _
- _Monitors and completes action items generated from inspections and incident investigations;_
- _Prepares and presents monthly HSES meetings;_
- _Provides on-the-floor HSES coaching and recognition;_
- _Assists with implementation and support of ALAM HSES Team goals and responsibilities;_
- _Available, approachable, and willing to help others with their HSES questions and/or concerns;_
- _Assists with waste management, disposal and compliance;_
- _Elevates significant health, safety, environmental, and security issues:_
- _Conducts or coordinates industrial hygiene monitoring as necessary;_
- _Identifies improvement opportunities and implements as appropriate;_
- _Develops and provides Site Emergency Response Team training and guidance and is a member of the ER Team;_
- _Successfully completes all assigned trainings_

**Additional information**

**Required Qualifications**:

- _Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science, Engineering, Safety or closely related field_
- _2+ years of experience in Occupational, Environmental, Industrial Hygiene, or related field_
- _Successfully complete all assigned and required training_
- _Passion for HSES._

- _Good presentation skills._
- _Ability to plan, prioritize and work under pressure and meet deadlines._

- _Experience in the chemical industry HSES field_
- _Plant level experience in HSE_
