**Position Summary**
- To ensure legal compliance for all activities within assigned area of responsibility.
- To ensure a safe and healthy work environment within assigned area of responsibility.
**Tasks and Responsibility**
- Ensure legal compliance for all activities within relevant regulatory framework and PaxOcean’s HSE Management System
- Support HSE Manager to implement and execute HSE Programs & Initiatives
- Plan, conduct and participate in audits to identify potential areas of improvement and best practices.
- Organise and conduct regular HSE site inspections with all relevant stakeholders and follow up on all identified non-conformances
- Function as a safety assessor as per relevant regulatory requirements
- Function as a Site Incident Controller (SIC) and lead the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) during emergency situations
- To serve as secretary for the Vessel Safety Coordination Committee (VSCC) for all assigned projects
- Initiate and conduct investigation for the purpose of identifying root causes upon any occurrences
- Liaise with relevant authorities as point of contact representing PaxOcean
- Any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by HSE Head
- Preferably 5 years of relevant experience in the marine / shipyard / Oil & Gas industry
- Diploma / Degree in any Engineering field or related discipline
- Hot work Assessor
- Confined Space Assessor
- Work at Height Assessor
- Relevant emergency response certifications will be an added advantage
- WSH Level C
