Supply Chain Project Manager

This is a regional role that takes responsibility for initiating new opportunities and innovation to integrate appropriate Supply Chain solutions and manage the project life cycle of projects or initiatives within Logistics Department (both internally and customer-related startups). Initiatives include End-To-End (E2E) supply chain process optimisation, digital transformation solutions, sustainability etc., that enhance the overall customer experience.

The role will work closely with different business units and functions to ensure the project or initiative delivers on time and achieve its objectives.

**Responsibilities**:
**Project Initiate to Implementation**
- Lead and manage supply chain projects and initiatives to create new supply chain capability, new customer-centric startup implementation or other continuous improvement initiatives.
- Innovative to explore the latest technology development, benchmark future supply chain trends and best practices, seeking opportunities to enhance E2E supply chain processes and systems.
- To identify opportunities using data analysis and facilitate workshops or meetings to develop new solutions to enhance performance.
- Self-starter to engage with internal and external stakeholders from project feasibility study to implementation. It includes developing detailed project plans and a burndown chart that ensures all project deliverables achieve objectives and deliver on time. Take ownership of the entire project lifecycle of the assigned projects.
- Develop the project budget and resources for approval and regularly track the project spending to ensure the project is delivered on the approved budget.
- Lead and manage exception handlings such as issue management, problem-solving, conflict and resolution management and scope change management with respective stakeholders. Ensure proper and timely escalations throughout the project life.
- Develop risk management and business continuity plan. It includes organising risk workshops and developing a risk response plan.
- Develop Change Management Plan for new initiatives or a new startup for a successful implementation with no critical business impact.
- Perform sourcing and vendor management as required.
- Perform a smooth transition of the successfully implemented project to Operations teams.

**Project Communication and Stakeholders Management**
- Monitor and track project progress with full visibility through timely Weekly Project Status Reporting (PSR) to all project stakeholders.
- Facilitate Project Steering Committee Meetings with Executive Leadership, including Customer fronting where applicable.

**QHSE and Compliance**
- Ensure compliance with company project, operational, quality and HS&E (health, safety, environment) standards, including ISO 9001, OSHAS 14000 requirements.
- Must adhere and comply with all safety requirements.
- Comply with the code of conduct on company’s behalf in all business matters.

**Other duties as needed**:

- Support ground operations as required.
- Special assignments as needed.

**Job Requirements**:

- Willingness to travel across sites within Singapore and international travel at short notice.
- The position is based in Singapore.
- A Business and Customer-oriented and demonstrate the ability to interpret the complexity and translate it into business values for easy visualisation and understanding.
- Fundamental knowledge of Integrated End to End (E2E) Supply Chain organisation would be preferred.
- Fundamental financial management, organisation planning and project implementation skills.
- Strong communicator with effective written and verbal communication skills to persuade, influence, negotiate and deliver an impactful business-focused presentation to support the business case.
- Exhibit active listening skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds in a collaborative and independent work environment with mínimal supervision.
- A logical thinker, possess analytical skills to perform problem-solving through data mining and root cause analysis with the recommendation of resolution.
- Display leadership ability with a “can-do” attitude, initiative, and speaking up to share supportive and critical views to foster and offer resolutions to challenges.
- Time management skills with the ability to work under pressure, multitask, prioritise and adhere to strict timelines.
- A good engager in building relationships with stakeholders across all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and specific job-related software such as MS Project, MS Visio.
