**The Role**
As a junior platform admin and support engineer, you will be assisting all Technology teams in the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of our trading platforms. With your sharp technical expertise and troubleshooting skills, you will ensure the reliability of our services offered on the various platforms, where over 50,000 of our clients trade around the clock
and across the globe. You will play a key role in supporting the growth of our company as we expand our fintech offerings. Your responsibilities will be:

- Day to day support of user workstations, including Windows, Linux and Mac workstations. We have 100 people around the world working to improve the TitanFX customer experience.
- Maintain and extend our service monitoring. We use tools such as Opsgenie to detect and react to issues. We’ll need you to be proactive and find issues before they happen.
- Keep things running. Systems do break from time to time. When they break, your job will be to make it work again. Once it works, walk the teams through the failure so they can prevent it from breaking again.
- Keep our systems secure. Help to defeat any attempts at breaking into our systems.
- Provide support to staff and customers regarding configuration, system administration and usage.
- Manage system upgrades, document processes, and provide technical support for our clients and internal departments.
- Perform maintenance and stress tests on our systems and resolve any issues.
- Manage data feeds.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the platforms.
- Collaborate with external advisors and vendors to keep our technology in perfect order and up-to-date.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline would be beneficial.
- Knowledge and an interest in computer systems and the latest technologies is essential.
- The ability to learn new technologies quickly. We will provide training but you have to be adaptable.
- An analytical mind.
- The ability to communicate complex procedures to other colleagues.
- Good communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and desire to probe further into data.
- This role will be required to work across all timezones and may be in the 247 rostering process.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
