The Post Voyage Operations group at Koch Shipping PTE LTD. is a fast-paced, dynamic, and team-oriented organization. We offer a rewarding and challenging work environment supporting waterborne operations and committees trading.

For our Varna office, we are looking to onboard a Marine Operations Analyst, who possess knowledge of and interest in the marine transport industry, being an active participant on the marine shipping operations team.

**What You Will Do In Your Role**:

- Supporting Freight Traders, by Charter Party review and analysis, Charter Party database management and Monthly review of claims and resolutions
- Supporting Vessel Operations Coordinators (VOCs) in tasks that include voyage data management using tools such as IMOS, Power BI, and Microsoft SharePoint; develop and maintain shipping and process flow metrics to identify and close gaps and analysis and/or draft freight, freight related, and secondary shipping claims
- Voyage Accounting by creating cost records in the Shipping groups operational software (IMOS) related to items such as vessel hire, freight, and voyage costs (port, 3rdparty support, etc.)
- Analyze data with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Review and negotiate post deal receivables maintaining the maximum claim amount
- Review post deal payables ensuring accurate payments

- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate through both written correspondence and verbal communication
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Team-player
- Ability to create metrics by pulling data from multiple sources
- Ability to handle numerous tasks simultaneously and perform under pressure
- Bachelor's Degree (Maritime, Accounting, Business, Finance, Mathematics preferred)
- Experience in demurrage/post deal claims
- Proficient in Microsoft Office

**What Will Put You Ahead**:

- Marine logistics or shipping experience
- Experience with charter party agreements.
- Experience in a trading environment
