**The Opportunity: Senior Business Development Manager (Financial Adviser Channel)**

This role will play a key part in deepening partnerships, designing go-to-market strategies, and contributing to both revenue generation and strategic transformation within the channel.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Strategic Sales Planning**:Develop and execute initiatives to strengthen sales performance across the FA channel, driving achievement of revenue and growth targets.
- **Relationship Development**:Build strong, sustainable relationships with financial advisory firms and individual advisers to support long-term business success.
- **Commercial Risk Engagement**:Act as the key point of contact for managing commercial opportunities—working alongside underwriters to assess risk, prepare quotations, and secure deals.
- **Performance Reporting**:Prepare detailed reports for senior management and external stakeholders, and lead quarterly and ad hoc business reviews.
- **Market Insight & Growth**:Identify emerging market opportunities, competitor movements, and customer needs to guide product innovation and business development.
- **Process & Digital Optimization**:Participate in continuous improvement efforts to refine internal sales processes and support the development of digital tools for operational efficiency.
- **Internal Collaboration**:Coordinate closely with internal teams to resolve inquiries, align priorities, and deliver on business needs.
- **Training & Enablement**:Conduct regular training sessions on products, systems, and sales techniques to equip FA partners with the knowledge needed to succeed.

**What You Bring**
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience in business development within the general insurance space, particularly with financial advisers.
- Mandatory certifications: BCP, PGI, and ComGI from the Singapore College of Insurance.
- Solid knowledge of general insurance offerings and a comprehensive understanding of the FA distribution landscape.
- Strong data-driven decision-making skills and an analytical mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities.
- A proactive approach to identifying trends and solving complex problems.
- Familiarity with AI-enhanced productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support business efficiency and insight generation.
