The Role Lead / Senior Software Engineer (Applications Consultant), Consulting Practice – responsible for complex .NET application development, system integration, and API creation. Job Description – Main Responsibilities & Deliverables 5–8 years of experience in C#/.NET development, with proven expertise in custom API development and system integration. Proficient in writing SQL for integration queries, familiar with MSSQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL for query optimization and tuning. Knowledge of architectural patterns and technical standards; ensure adherence to coding standards. Perform or participate in code reviews and promote a culture of technical excellence. Hands‐on experience developing complex software applications and components, writing clean, efficient, and well‐documented code, and participating in all phases of the SDLC. Design and implement integrations with various systems and third‐party services; identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize application performance. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, working in a multidisciplinary environment with Architects, Software Engineers, Business Analysts, and PMs to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Work independently, completing complex tasks and interfacing across teams internally and externally as needed. Plan and perform unit and functionality testing to ensure fit to design. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring system stability and reliability. Experience working in a matrixed, global team across multiple time zones. Handle tasks from multiple projects with competing priorities simultaneously. High attention to detail in a dynamic, challenging environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‐solving skills; collaborate effectively with cross‐functional teams and stakeholders. Quick learner committed to challenging tasks with an analytical mindset and strong self‐learning ability. Actively seek information and share knowledge with others. Ideal Profile – Professional Capabilities Familiarity with Java plug‐in development. Experience ensuring scalable, multi‐user, secure coding. Proven ability to identify and resolve performance issues. Experience with AWS cloud platforms relevant to .NET application deployment and management. Experience building, deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, including writing YAML manifests. Proficient with version control systems (GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins). Exposure to application servers, web servers, JavaScript, Unix, and basic commands. Experience in banking industry, Actimize, AML, KYC, and fraud solutions desirable. Experience designing, developing AI‐based solutions desirable.
