**COMPANY DESCRIPTION**

The Children and Youth Group (CYG) in The Salvation Army Singapore serves over 500 vulnerable children and youth yearly. In line with our vision to provide a continuum of care for those in need, our services span from preventive services, foster care and residential services to reunification support services for vulnerable children returning to their natural families after being removed due to safety concerns. **RESPONSIBILITIES**

As a Asst/Manager, Corporate and Programme Development, you would be a key person making our vision to provide a strong continuum of services supporting vulnerable children and youth possible. Supporting the Executive Director of CYG, you will be crucial in strategic planning and organisational development. You will also play an important role in analysis of trends and needs, developing programmes and solutions in enable better outcomes for vulnerable children and families. Not only just an ideas person, you will also be the key person carrying initiatives through to searching for funding, implementation and carrying out evaluations.

Your specific responsibilities would likely include:
**Strategic Planning and Organisational Development**
- conduct market research and analysing trends and data to inform the organisation's strategic decisions
- work with other members of the organisation's leadership team to develop and implement strategies and plans monitor and evaluate the progress of the organisation's strategic plan and effectiveness of services and programmes

**Programme Design and Development**
- work with other members of the organisation's leadership team and external stakeholders to identify the needs of at-risk children and youths, and to develop programs and initiatives to address those needs
- develop program and initiative proposals, including defining goals and objectives, identifying target populations, and estimating budgets and timelines
- oversee the implementation of programs and initiatives, including monitoring and evaluating their progress, and making adjustments as needed
- conduct research to identify potential sources of funding for the organization's programs
- develop and maintain relationships with potential funders, such as foundations, government agencies, and corporations

**QUALIFICATIONS**
Degree in any discipline

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- High EQ, sharp thinking leader Meticulous, resourceful, independent and relish in a high tempo environment

**OTHER INFORMATION**
**Working Hours**

Please be informed that the total work hours is 44 hours per week.

Under normal circumstances the hours of duty will be as follows:
9.30am to 6.30pm - Monday to Friday (inclusive 1 hour lunch break)

However, due to the nature of the work, you need to be flexible in working hours.
