- We will do this by creating a “coalition of the willing”, by partnering with CPG companies (Principals) to offer the right assortment to the small underserved/uncovered retailers. This is a first-of-its-kind company founded by Unilever the leading CPG company in D&E markets, partnering with CPG companies across multiple global markets where the proof-of-concept has already been established and scale-up plans are all underway.
- ROLE SUMMARY
- This role will be aligned to the global Chief Principal Officer at Gro24/7. The role holder will build and lead the Global Product development for Principal experience within the Global Principal Hub.
- This role holder will build a robust product roadmap driving innovation for processes covering the end-to-end Principal experience right from on-boarding to business-as-usual engagement to create value for Principals that can be monetizable and provide a “win win” opportunity for the principals and the platform. S/he will do this by defining a “north-star” Principal experience by deeply understanding Principal needs coupled with robust external benchmarking and an ability to connect the dots on best-practices across industries. The role holder must simultaneously focus on the continuous improvement product journey based on voice-of-principals and deep connect with the markets/functions.
- To deliver outcomes, this will entail both charting the path and leading Principal specific products while influencing/shaping Principal interfaces on all relevant product canvases with a sharp focus on tools/automation to improve experience while driving scale/productivity. Hence, this role will interact closely with other Product Management and software development teams to drive rapid deployment at scale.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Define the Gro 24/7 approach to the product roadmap to deliver the Principal strategy and fine-tuning it basis on-ground learnings across markets. Managing the planning, development, roll-out and adoption.
- Partner with Principal/Category Managers, Country Leaders and key category functions to support defining priorities and operational goals to achieve our growth targets and develop/deploy the product roadmap to enhance the Principal experience
- Audit metrics regularly to identify product/tech opportunities to continually drive quality of Principal experience and improve efficiency across multiple sub-categories
- Collaborate with departments across the organization to support the improvement of tools and productivity on Principal experience
- Responsible for driving excellence in implementation and adoption of all the product features by instilling governance mechanisms, metrics and external benchmarking to ensure we consistently raise the bar.
- Proactively build and develop synergistic relationships with Global Gro 24/7 cross-functional leaders, Market Leaders, Principal/Category Leaders in markets by seeking feedback, providing consultation and collaboration to enhance the Principal experience.
- Internally, independently anchor discussions in top-to-top forums, build bridges with the operating leaders through formal & informal mechanisms. Sharp ability to translate this product solutions to address Principal opportunities/challenges
