Tamarind Hill is looking for a versatile and artistic F&B Attendant within our Food & Beverage department to bring our esteemed guest through experiential food journeys. You’ll be working across a variety of scenarios from welcoming our guest to their tables to mixing up a good Old Fashioned. Each day is always an adventure. With all the adventure, expect some tranquil and peaceful days, as we are located in one of the only nature reserves in Singapore.

This position is suitable for those with a high level of customer service experience with a keen sense of detail and ability to think on one’s feet. A big inviting smile and a passion for people and hospitality will allow you to fit right in your wheelhouse and the Samadhi culture.

- Deliver food from kitchen to the guest ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
- Assist in the breakdown, cleaning and set-up of buffets and food stations.
- Works as per instructions from the immediate Supervisor and as per duty shifts.
- Ensures proper appearance (condition of uniforms) and grooming whilst on duty.
- Works (hands-on) towards the timely set up of the assigned Food & Beverage outlet, according to the meal settings and in line with the opening hours.
- Handles the guest greeting upon arrival and their seating through the hostess.
- Maintains a professional/friendly, yet discreet relationship with the guests
- Familiarize with all menus, promotions, and other relevant issues concerning restaurant.
- Reports cleanliness and maintenance issues to the immediate Supervisor.
- Handles guest complaints as per instructions or consults the immediate Supervisor.
- Does all mis-en-place work according to the whole day service requirements.
- Attends all regular departmental briefings and contributes to an open communication within the assigned team.
- To ensure that a check is made and recorded in the POS system for every food & beverage sale in the outlet.
- To open a guest check in the POS system, punching orders, splitting, and transferring tables, settling checks as cash, room charge, credit card or city ledger.
