**Background
MPEPSPL is looking for a Vice President to work with our team and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, to identify sector opportunities, to oversee quality outputs, and create co-learning opportunities. He/ she will build and develop relationships with existing and new donors, funders, sponsors and other type of capital providers. He/she will help build a broad portfolio in energy and environment sector related projects related to transportation electrification, built environment, rural value chains and utility-driven clean energy projects.

**Role & Responsibilities
The Vice President will oversee project deliverables and mentor employees in the following sectors

1) **Energy-electricity, mobility, and clean energy finance sectors**

**2) **Development of knowledge resources**

S/he will assist in developing course content and identifying partners to collaborate with in India, South Asia, South East Asia, Africa and other emerging economies. Additionally, he/she would be responsible for organizing webinars and learning events in the energy, clean mobility, circularity and other related sectors as deemed relevant

**Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s degree from institution of global repute in Sustainable Energy, Environment, Engineering, Economics, Management, or sustainability including Architecture
- At least 10 years’ experience working in the electricity or energy sectors in research,

consulting firms or businesses involved in delivering clean energy services
- Leadership skills to handle projects related to utility innovations, smart-grid solutions,
- Demonstrated experiences in managing teams and external stakeholders keeping the budgets and deliverables under control
- Strong experience in proposal writing and business development efforts to secure new

projects and building stronger long-term relationships with stakeholders
- Strong experience of managing and building client relationships across the government,

private sector, academia and CSOs
- Self-starter, showing demonstrated interest in energy, environment, climate related topics
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Willingness to travel (when there are no pandemic-related restrictions)
