Event Coordinator

**Key Responsibilities**
**Pre-Event Planning and Coordination**:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate all logístical aspects of events, ensuring seamless execution from inception to completion.
- Develop comprehensive event timelines, budgets, and project plans, and adhere to deadlines and financial parameters.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to align event objectives with overall business goals.
- Source and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to secure competitive pricing and ensure high-quality event delivery.
- Coordinate logistics such as venue selection and booth set-ups.
- Manage relationships with vendors and ensure all contractual obligations are met.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, health, and safety regulations throughout the planning and execution phases.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards and liabilities.
**On-Site Event Management**:
- Oversee event set-up, tear-down, and day-of logistics to ensure smooth operations.
- Supervise on-site staff, volunteers, and temporary personnel, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Address any issues or challenges that may arise during events promptly and effectively.
**Post-Event Evaluation and Reporting**:
- Conduct thorough post-event evaluations to assess event success and effectiveness in meeting objectives.Analyze attendee feedback and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for future events.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the events industry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy in work output.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools.
- Knowledge of event management software and technologies is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required for project assignments.
- Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional event experiences.
