The merger of Aviva Singapore and Singlife was announced in September 2020 and created one of the largest homegrown financial services companies in Singapore in a deal valued at S$3.2 billion. It was the largest insurance deal in Singapore at the time.

Singlife was subsequently acquired by Sumitomo Life in March 2024, one of Japan’s leading life insurers, which valued Singlife at S$4.6 billion, making the transaction one of the largest insurance deals in Southeast Asia.

As part of Singlife’s Propel’s Product Management team, we aim to provide insurance-related services to Financial Advisory (FA) firms. We thrive on proper product due diligence as well as detailed product comparisons of life insurance products. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare insurance product due diligence for FA firms Product Committee
- Maintain and update product comparisons
- Prepare presentation decks on product comparisons for engagements
- Perform product management for products onboarding / offboarding
- May also be assigned to perform other responsibilities under the Product Management team

**Requirements**:
Experience
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in the Financial/ Insurance industry preferred
- Good knowledge of life insurance products
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements in relation to insurance products
- Excellent inter-personal and effective communication skills both written and verbal, building strong relationships at all levels
- Detail-focused, highly analytical orientation
- Ability to work independently with good time management skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to identify key issues and recommend practical solutions

- Degree/relevant qualifications
- CMFAS Papers - M5, M9, M9A (preferred)
