Quality Assurance Specialist

The QA CSC specialist is part of the Customer Supply Chain Professional team. The mission of the group is to be the trusted conscience that leads & supports in quality, food safety & compliance. QA brings quality awareness in the hearts & minds of our people and contributes to Supply Chain performance and 100% Customer Satisfaction.

The objective is to enable our organisation to WIN IN THE MARKET based on Food Safety & Quality, by ensuring that
- all products marketed are compliant to Food Safety and Quality requirements of FrieslandCampina, local legislation & meeting customers & consumer requirements.
- Logistic service providers (eg. warehouses, co-packers, transportation companies) and promotional objects, etc are compliant according national legislation and FC standards.
- Ensuring adequate communication and collaboration to reduce complaints and quality issues impacting the business.
- Food Safety and Quality risks are assessed and mitigated related to new and changed products sold

This function supports the achievement of the commercial targets of the sales teams and is in close contact with sales and service teams. Monthly review with all relevant stakeholders is organised to review the quality KPI’s and discuss improvement projects.

What We Ask
- Degree, preferably in Food Science
- Experience (min. 5 years) in Quality Assurance
- Knowledge on validation and microbiology
- Ability to work in a matrix organisation
- Customer mindset in all quality decision making
