[What the role is]

The Singapore Botanic Gardens (SBG) is one of the oldest and premier tropical botanical gardens. It has an extensive collection of orchids, palms, cycads, gingers and plants of human cultural significance, including many significant and heritage trees which reflect its 160-year history.

[What you will be working on ]
We are seeking dynamic and creative individuals with a strong passion for plants and excellence in horticulture. You will assist in the managing and maintaining the landscapes and plant collections in the Gallop Extension of the Singapore Botanic Gardens. This is newly developed area with a focus on tree and biodiversity conservation.

You will also contribute to the various public outreach programmes and activities in a public garden, including educational outreach, horticultural shows and corporate or social activities.

[What we are looking for ]
- Diploma in Horticulture & Landscape Management, Botany, or related field.
- Experience in landscape maintenance.
- A hands-on person, enjoys outdoor work and a love for plants.
- A good team player and interested in developing current knowledge of tropical horticulture.
- Good communication, organisational, and supervisory skills.
