Dove Hair is a big business globally with 1B+ Euro turnover and with the ambition to double the business. The role of the Dove Hair Global Assistant Brand Manager (SEA) is to support and co-lead the growth strategy of the brand by building and implementing insight driven innovation, participate in the process of developing purpose led communication that drives saliency and is proven to deliver on the key jobs to be done.

This is a high potential role, with exciting and high visibility projects to foster creativity, leadership, stakeholder management and business acumen. The role is based in Singapore, reporting to the Global Brand Manager based also in Singapore.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Co-lead Dove Innovation and Engagement for key SEA markets:

- Leading innovation projects working with: Technical Project Leader to deliver superior product technology, Consumer Market Insight to leverage strong consumer insights, Supply Chain to hold the overall project network, Finance to build and track business cases, packaging and creatives to create innovative packs, Claims and Legal to develop superior claims and proposition. This will require leading teams remotely and closely monitoring overall project to deliver on time and in full.
- Supporting the Dove Hair growth strategy in key markets and platforms to drive growth and strengthen equity to double the brand.
- Develop locally relevant purpose led communication to drive saliency and product superiority working with creative agencies and with local marketing teams to craft and build powerful communications from brief to execution.
- As part of the global Dove Hair team the brand leader for SEA is expected to leverage learnings, best practices and projects from other markets and regions to ensure we develop world class innovation and communication.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL:

- 1-4 years of Marketing experience
- Business / Marketing academic background
- Strong analytical skills, “can do” attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong project management skills to deliver projects OTIF
- Eye for beauty, attention to detail, creativity and a knack for judging product design, advertising, and content.
- Clear demonstration of bias for action, high accountability, external orientation, team leadership, influencing others
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills with a strong track record in collaborating with country business teams and in leading cross-functional project teams
- Self-driven with strong resilience in a fast evolving working environment.
- Proven record of mix development experience specifically in developing launches, consumer, and shopper relevant innovations and/or relaunches and communications including digital
- Showing empathy and curiosity to consumers

DESIRABLE:

- Passion for beauty brands (hair care category preferred)
- Resilience when under pressure and with a strong ability to keep focus
- Experience in local and/or regional marketing
- Works well in uncertainty and ability to work independently
