**Overall view of the role**:

- The Regional Accounting & Finance Manager will be primarily responsible to oversee and manage the full spectrum of finance, accounting, tax and planning activities.
- To provide progressive and coordinated Finance and Accounting support to subsidiaries in APAC region.
- To develop and implement strategic Finance and Accounting initiatives including enhancement of internal policies and controls, drive operational excellence and efficiency.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- In charge of full aspect of financial and accounting matters, including but not limited to the preparation of financial returns and reports for internal and regulatory submissions across APAC jurisdiction.
- Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
- Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Preparing group consolidated financial statement.
- Responsible in Finance administration and operation work to support the daily activities of the business such as profit and cash flow projections, and financial analysis.
- Manage full accounting operations to ensure smooth business operations.
- Manage financial planning, policies, processing, forecasting and budgets.
- Preparation and review of relevant MAS reports for licensed entities.
- Review, implementation and enhancement of internal controls and manage the in-house internal control system.
- Manage changes to accounting systems, reconciliation, and processes to ensure front to back processing is accurate and complete.
- Support various audits, inspections, and tax submissions as per regulatory requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Accountancy or related disciplines, preferably as a fully qualified Certified Chartered Accountant.
- Minimum 8 years & above of working experience with at least 5 years of experience in Finance, preferably at a financial institution or accounting & audit firm.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, principles, and procedures.
- Has good Financial Product knowledge
- Experience with full set entity accounting and preparation of financial statement, including consolidation.
- Experience with MAS reporting.
- Experience with full audit procedure.
- Experience with project management, system implementation (preferably Netsuite) and UAT process.
- Display sound knowledge of relevant regulations, laws, and taxation rules.
- Able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders including team members and senior management.
- Professional and possess strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Independent, pro-active with effective problem-solving skills.
- A team player that collaborates well with other departments.
