Joining our team means you will work in a high performing global company where employees collaborate and strive for excellence. **Job Description**: Reporting to the Asia Supply Chain Director, the Commodity Manager will drive commodity management and sourcing activities for delegated elecronics commodity group. **> KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** - Establish relationship with Vendors, Distribution and 3PL, strengthen our short-term and long-term delivery and supply, and negotiate with better terms and condition - Technical capable with desired knowledge and skill to drive the cost reduction and negotiation activities as they related to material costing and PPV in manufacturing- Generate RFQ package template with detail business opportunity analysis - Act as negotiation leader of during meeting with supplier - Setup price contract agreement, and update final contract to system - Drive the inventory control, safety stock review, ABC analysis, VMI and Min-Max strategic, tooling management processes as they relate to commodity management - KPI measurement by monthly, PPV, COO and Leadtime tracking report - Supplier/ distribution commercial terms negotiation project- VMI terms negotiation - Shipment location and terms arrangement - Payment Terms & DPO Improvement - Establish Quarterly Business Review (QBR) meeting with supplier - Drive Supplier Stock Expediting for Production Need- Expediting call establishment based on Horizonal Plan - Interface with purchasing team weekly for communication and situation update - Spot buy and open market sourcing for critical part - Surveying with supplier on risky/ disaster situation - Drive NPD & dynamic sourcing for alternative searching - Component EOL Management with Site Engineer- Interface with engineers by weekly call - Search alternative solution based on technical specification - LTB/ EOL management Tracking - PSL and PPL maintenance - Services Level Agreement and supplier terms implementation and establishment - Drive and implement the localization and supplier development processes - Other duties may be assigned **Qualifications**: - Educated to degree level or Higher Diploma Holder in Business / Engineering / Supply Chain or related discipline - Proven experience in purchasing or a sourcing leader role - Capabilities to drive & execute the sourcing and costing analysis in new products development - Experience in the supplier and part management processes related to sourcing activities - Ability to motivate and retain staff to achieve high levels of performance - Fluent in English and Mandarin - Excellent communication skills Additional Information XP Power provides a safe and healthy working environment that is stimulating and collegiate, where employees are empowered to make a real difference.
