As a Senior Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing the technical lead and coordination for all service and greenfield project activities for assignments classified as medium engineering complexity. Ensuring that activities related to all engineering (for greenfield projects) and service disciplines (for the AMC sites) are efficiently and cost-effectively executed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. Reporting to DCA Engineering Manager, you will be ensuring the Project and Service portfolio is delivered effectively according to ABB standard processes and safety guidelines to satisfy customers. Executing technical support, act as specialist and solve problems in own expertise area. This position is based in Singapore.

Senior Engineering Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Providing technical support and solves problems in own expertise area via remote or on-site service in any service category (installation and commissioning; maintenance; repairs; engineering and consulting; advanced services; extensions, upgrades, and retrofits; end of life services, replacements, etc.)
- Ensuring that engineering is developed with complete information and that all multidisciplinary information has been included in the engineering development. Solving problems that appear during engineering development
- Collaborating with the project installation, commissioning and site activities clarifying potential issues or providing solutions to correct engineering errors. Taking part hands-on during the commissioning and start-up activities
- Acting as overall technical service lead for the engineering disciplines included in the AMC projects. Actively collaborating and does knowledge transfer from the project engineering team and other service team colleagues, supporting with technical advice and guidance
- Managing customer relationships and maintaining regular contacts with key customers. Identifying new sales opportunities, proactively communicating both with the customer and ABB sales teams to ensure customer needs are understood and business opportunities utilized for service growth
- Preparing all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative. Reporting work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed

**Your background**:

- Minimum with recognized degree or diploma in Engineering with experience in automation systems
- At least 5 years’ experience in DCS project engineering and/or DCS service with experience in Data Center projects an added advantage
- Computer literacy and competency Microsoft office tools
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Customer service oriented
