- Project transport picks up at Bukit Batok MRT every morning at 7.35 am.
- Up to SGD 10.5k monthly
**About the Role**
We are seeking a high calibre professional who has experience in effectively management of design activities of the permanent and temporary works of the project to ensure design requirements, objectives and targets of the contracts are timely fulfilled and within budget.
**The Job Scope**
- Implement pertinent requirements of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) including referenced procedures.
- Ensure timely issue of approved plans for construction drawings and technical documentation to ensure that procurement, construction and commissioning activities can proceed unhindered.
- Lead and manage in-house design coordination team and design consultants in accordance with procedure Project Design Plan.
- Ensure design process and submissions comply with Singapore regulations and requirements.
- Maintain effective interfaces between all parties to the design process and take corrective action to maintain program when necessary.
- Maintaining an effective design change management system. Guide/review/approves all Technical Queries.
- Ensure that all works designs are verified prior to issue for construction.
- Work with engineering and construction staff to develop appropriate construction methods, construction execution procedures and inspection & test plans that are consistent with achieving the design intent.
- Manage all risk and compliance matters to safety and environmental responsibilities such as providing input to risk register and ensuring all risk reduction controls are in place.
- Ensure compliance with legal and other requirements, including standards and codes of practice.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- 10 to 15 years of design engineering experience in civil construction projects recognisable by the PE Board or qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control is a must.
- Experience in large scale viaduct project or bridge project is an added advantage.
- Strong commitment to safety and risk management.

**Salary**: $8,000.00 - $10,500.00 per month
