- Are you passionate about emerging technologies & Agile? Are you someone who believes in delivering a high class product into production and ensuring high availability of the solution in a production environment. Are you motivated to work in a complex, cross-functional, diverse and global environment? We are looking for a APAC regional lead to manage a group of experienced Engineers, DevOps specialists and SRE’s to deliver products across various platforms and also support platforms in production with a high level of stability.
- In addition to the regional lead for Hosting Services, the role will also double up as Chapter lead for Multi-Compute in APAC which requires:
- Act as people and development manager to our engineering and reliability Chapters, be a mentor supporting growth and career progression and ensure high standards of engineering and automation principles are applied across the delivery crews
- Support the broader strategy and goals of the Hosting Services organization to ensure wider workforce are equipped to understand in their context
- Drive best practices in Engineering, DevOps and SRE
- Face off to partners across the wider Technology teams in the region and partner them on cross stream opportunities
- Face off to senior business stakeholders in the region and have regular Services review calls
- Face off to various Financial regulators in the region as needed
- Support and enable the Chapter with new / emerging practices, learning opportunities and capability building
- Connect chapters to the wider UBS community of guilds, engage as thought and action leader beyond the borders of the crew
- Work with Crew Leads and Agile coaches to understand and resolve challenges, opportunities and areas of collaboration
- Balance the role of delivering high quality engineering products with maintaining high levels of Availability across the board

- The Regional Lead will be the central point of contact for the Hosting Services organization within Technology Services domain in APAC. This role will be based in Singapore.**Your expertise**
- Strong leader who can garner respect from individuals, puts their needs first, and with a strong attitude of transparency
- Strong ability to lead and represent local regulatory governance and compliance requirements
- 12+ years of IT experience with 6+ years of software development, 4+ years of Architecture and 2+ years of experience using agile development practices
- Knowledgeable in Cloud services including PAAS, IAAS, SAAS
- Experience leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing people and teams
- Experience identifying and acquiring talent needs and resource planning and talent allocation across large organizations
- Strong interpersonal, relationship management and facilitation skills. A strong contributor with a collaborative work style
- Inspirational people leader, capable of developing others to accelerate their cloud journey to mastery.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with which you build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships and relationships at all levels of the organization
- Have a continuous improvement mentality and encourage an Agile way of working
