Core Responsibilities
- Deliver weekly written regional business insights to business influencers across management layers.
- Create and present retail insight deep dives of current success stories to scale or challenges/risks to mitigate in weekly commercial huddle meetings with management.
- Deliver regional data-based arguments to challenge assumptions in the S&OP process.
- Facilitate and participate in cross functional regional insights teams to support local management.
- Share general retail insights from across the industry in a digestible and action driven fashion for decision makers.
- Lead insights sparing sessions with B2B colleagues where legally allowed (CSI).
- Represent the region in global insights forums.

The department’s focus is to deliver timely insights through commercial and 1st party data from across the LEGO Retail business. Further to craft these data points into crisp and committed business recommendation to support both short term operational optimization as well as tactical and strategical decision. The team is supporting cross functional in the commercial value chain Marketing, Finance, Operations, Stores and e-Commerce.
Do you have what it takes?
- 6+ years’ experience working with data, insights and practical recommendations.
- Retail experience being part of a direct-to-consumer business or B2B dealing with retail businesses. Experience working on a global scale preferred.
- Big degree of self-motivation and curiosity.
- Data visualization and analyzing skills in big data sets (ideally SQL capabilities and Tableau or similar visualization software training)
- Positive can-do demeanor and always chasing solutions willingness to learn independently and adapt roles.
- A high level of learning agility
- you can pick things up and learn quickly on your own and collaborative with new stakeholders, with a determination to deliver results.
- Able to build extraordinary working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Willing to travel 10 days a year
- Fluent English skills both verbal and written
- Ability to present visually to management stakeholders compliance topics in a simple and clear storyline
- Fluency in Tableau / similar data visualization software
- Fluency in SQL (Hive, Impala) or similar experience in analyzing large structured and unstructured datasets
