**I. Position Summary**

The Marketing Manager, SEA & PAK is responsible for developing and implementation of SEA & Pakistan business strategy in alignment with Global & Asia Strategy. Working closely with SEA & Pakistan General Manager, Commercial Operations Manager, the Marketing Manager will work through in-country marketing teams, and will focus on developing strategic initiatives, portfolio management, marketing services, market access and business development opportunities for deployment across the region.

**II. Key Responsibilities**

**Development & Execution of SEA & PAK strategy**

1. Formulate and implement SEA & PAK insights-driven marketing strategy that is aligned with the broader local and regional strategy.

2. Understand the economic, market and industry trends in SEA & PAK and use trend data to maximize opportunities and minimize risk exposure.

3. Build competitive knowledge in the SEA & PAK markets.

4. Prepare Business cases & plans for major identified opportunities (e.g., new products, new segments, new categories)

5. Lead market shaping in SEA & PAK market, defend and improve market positioning and depth of market access by developing strong, trust-based relationships with external partners, customers and key stakeholders.

6. Support the development of country strategic marketing plans that contribute to the achievement of volume/mix, revenue and margin objectives/budget in alignment with the SEA + PAK business objectives.

**7. **Work with Asia to build and develop marketing capability of SEA business and marketing associates

**Portfolio Management**

1. Define the overall SEA and PAK product and portfolio strategy, including pricing strategy in alignment with local country requirements and global Diabetes Care product and portfolio strategy.

2. Manage strategic portfolio of products from commercialization to obsolescence, including all activities related to pre-launch, launch and phasing out.

**Marketing Activities**

1. Lead in market model mapping in partnership with local country marketers

2. Support Country Sales and Marketing’s key reporting processes such as (Budget/ Forecasting, Fact Based Forecasting, Key Success Factors, sales and manufacturing revenue projections).

3. Ensure launch excellence and working closely with global/Asia marketing in the provision of regional marketing expertise to local organizations in the area of Product Marketing, Branding and Digital Marketing

4. Develop effective marketing programs/communications in SEA & PAK

5. Partner with in-country marketeers to support and coach the Field Sales team with implementation of marketing messages and sales tools.

6. Manage and control the SEA marketing budget to ensure key sources of growth are supported with investment, effectively and efficiently.

7. Prepare periodic sales forecasts, co-ordination with manufacturing and supply chain in order to ensure healthy stock situation and maintain effective inventory control.

**Consensus Forecasting**

1. Work with SEA Commercial Operations, SEA Supply Chain and in-country Business Leaders and Marketeers to ensure demand forecasts are reflective of ambition, reality and supported by adequate activities.

**Brand Transition**

1. Collaborate with Global/Asia Marketing to ensure smooth brand transition from BD branded products to embecta branded products.

2. This will cover customer communications (Distributors & channel partners), HCPs and Patient/Consumer/Shopper communications.

**People Management**

1. Coach and guide country marketeers to develop and implement local marketing plans.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum of Bachelor degree in business/Marketing related field

**V. Experience**
- Minimum 8 years of experience in similar role within medical device, consumer healthcare or pharmaceutical industry with SEA experience
