**What the role is**
- The intern will be attached to Tote Board’s Grant Management Division - Policy & Research Department to support the research efforts into and review of grants governance and risk management policies and practices.

**Research on Grant Governance and Grant Risk Management**

**Project Description**:
Grant is Tote Board’s core business. In ensuring our core business runs well, governance and risk management of grants are crucial, while balancing flexibility for grantees and efficiency for operations. This project is to find out the global and local best practices in grants governance and risk management, and propose feasible solutions for Tote Board’s grants team.

**Project Requirements**:
The intern will be attached to Tote Board’s Grant Management Division - Policy & Research Department to support the research efforts into and review of grants governance and risk management policies and practices.

Key project deliverables* include but not limited to:

- Conducting research to understand the global and local best practices in grants governance and risk management, and to identify the potential enhancements for Tote Board
- _Project deliverable requirements may vary or rescoped accordingly_

The intern should be:

- Available for a minimum of 10 weeks
- Preferred profile of Interns: Year 3 or 4 Business Management/Administration, Economics or Accountancy undergraduates

**Learning Outcome**:

- Intern will gain first-hand experience and exposure to the business, roles and functions of grantmaking within Tote Board
- Exposure to policy formulation by providing sound and feasible recommendations
