**Responsibilities**:
**PRIMARY FUNCTIONS**

1. Implement and uphold food safety and hygiene standards; risk assessments; quality specifications; documentation and procedures to comply with all statutory requirements and company policies.

2. Manage and lead overall QC operations in ensuring all materials (raw, packaging, finished) batch record release and disposition, FEFO practice are upheld.

3. Conduct regular production plant and warehouse audits to ensure GMP sustainability.

4. Liaise closely with pest contractor to ensure pest control management is in accordance with approved procedures.

5. Revise SOP for food quality and safety to fulfil AVA, Halal, HACCP and BRC requirements.

6. Standardize and simplify operational standard system (OPS) specifically for junior staff and production operators.

7. Provide technical support to customer enquiries.

8. Prepare Monthly Quality Department Report for submission to DGM including progressive status updates on KPI, Performance, GMP, Internal & External Audit information; etcs.

9. Expect all abovementioned functions are duly upheld to achieve management requirements.

**SECONDARY FUNCTIONS**

10. Organise and conduct GMP, Food Safety & Hygiene and CCP/OPRP related training to Factory employees.

11. Organize and conduct training (OJT, internal & external) for QA/QC team competency development.

12. Implement continuous improvement project to sustain Food Quality, Safety & Hygiene in the Factory.

13. Any other duties as assigned by the Company from time to time. The Company also reserves the right to transfer you to other section or department and enlarge your job scope if necessary.

**Job Requirements**

1. Senior QA/QC Specialist with at least 3 years’ working experience preferred.

2. Strict enforcement of food safety requirements ( AVA/HACCP/FSSSC)

3. Have passion on quality management.

4. Able to communicate well with all levels of staff to convince them on the importance of food safety and hygiene.

5. Have patience and perseverance to undertake complaint improvement and corrective action.
