As a Fleet Manager, you will play a crucial role in establishing and enforcing fleet policies and procedures. Your primary focus will be on maintaining a well-managed and efficient fleet by developing guidelines for vehicle usage, maintenance protocols, fuel management, driver safety, and accident or failure reporting. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements, ensuring the smooth operation of the fleet.

**Role responsibilities**
- **Managing Vehicle Maintenance and Repairs**: Oversee the maintenance and repair processes for the fleet, ensuring that all vehicles are properly serviced and in optimal working condition.
- **Monitoring Vehicle Performance and Status**:Utilize fleet management software and systems to monitor vehicle performance and track their status, ensuring timely repairs and preventive maintenance.
- **Ensuring Compliance with Regulations and Safety Standards**:Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and safety standards, ensuring the fleet's adherence to all relevant requirements.
- **Implementing Fleet Management Software and Systems**: Implement and optimize fleet management software and technologies to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- **Developing and Implementing Fleet Policies and Procedures**:Create comprehensive fleet policies and procedures that align with the company's objectives and ensure smooth fleet operations.
- **Conducting Regular Inspections and Audits**:Perform regular inspections and audits of vehicles, drivers, and related processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance.

**Required experience**
- **Proficiency in Fleet Management Software and Technology**:Demonstrated expertise in utilizing fleet management software and technology to optimize fleet performance and operations.
- **In-Depth Knowledge of Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Processes**:A strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes to ensure vehicles are properly serviced and maintained.
- **Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving Capabilities**:Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement solutions to improve fleet efficiency and resolve issues effectively.
- **Understanding of Regulatory Compliance and Safety Standards**:Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards to ensure the fleet's compliance and the safety of drivers and vehicles.
- **Financial Acumen for Budgeting and Cost Control**:Sound financial management skills to create and manage budgets effectively while controlling costs.
- **Ability to Track and Analyze Data**:Proficient in data tracking and analysis, using insights to make informed decisions and improvements.
- **Ability to Design Mitigation Procedures**:Capability to design and implement mitigation procedures to minimize risk and ensure the fleet's safety and reliability.
- **Adaptability to Handle Changing Priorities**:Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected challenges in a dynamic fleet management environment.
- **Prior Experience in Setting up a Fleet Management System (Strong Advantage)**:Previous experience in establishing a fleet management system will be highly advantageous.
