Executive VIP Consultant
The Executive/VIP Consultant provides essential support to SIRVA’s corporate clients in managing the designated client’s personnel who are relocating for a job assignment. The Executive/VIP Consultant is responsible for the daily service delivery of the designated clients’ relocation programs and will serve as the single point of accountability for each transferee’s relocation. He/she will be required to be accessible on a 24 x 7 basis and must be willing and able to resolve issues whenever called upon to do so. The Consultant will provide an exceptional level of oversight to each customer’s move or assignment. He/she will need to communicate in a highly proactive manner and will serve as the Ambassador for SIRVA, ensuring that all customer issues are resolved as quickly as possible. Due to the high-touch level of service required, the Consultant will handle a caseload estimated at 50% of normal caseload.
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Global: Oversee the delivery of the entire spectrum of assignment management services, including policy counseling, destination services, household goods shipping, destination services, intercultural services, visa/immigration services, ongoing assignment support, and repatriation. Interpret the designated clients’ international assignment policies and procedures and evaluate different options to provide advice and consultation to international assignees based on their particular needs and country-specific requirements. Provide on-going consultation to the assignee during the entire length of the international assignment. Manage the expenses associated with the international assignment for designated assignees.
Domestic: Manage the spectrum of services available to each transferee during the relocation process potentially including: the sale of the transferee’s home, the purchase of a new home, home rental, expense management, movement of household goods, property management, and temporary living. Interpret the designated client’s relocation policies and procedures and evaluate the different options available to transferees to provide advice and consultation based on the particular needs of a transferee. Use independent judgment to develop solutions to problems that arise with transferees or suppliers during the relocation process. Primarily provide guidance and advocacy to homeowners regarding home sale, finding a new home, equity advances, mortgage services, and other required services. Proactively works towards share of wallet expansion on each individual move.

Coordinate with Sales & Account Management to achieve client goals; actively participate in quarterly and annual reviews, run reports as needed in response to client requests and recommend process improvements to drive efficiencies. Participate and coordinate weekly client meetings as required and become the knowledge expert on client policy and operating procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a GAC, or Senior GAC
- Ability to identify potential problems and develop effective solutions without immediate direction or supervision
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office
- Ability to manage deadlines, multi-task and operate in a fast-paced environment
- Effective problem-solving skills
