Job Description:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**

In support of, and under the direction supervision of the Vice President (VP), the Global Sales Engineer is responsible for assisting in the execution of annual sales plans for targeted geographic region.
- Assist the VP in the management of the business development effort in the specified region(s). Define and execute sales strategies and tactics to meet or exceed annual sales plans and targets.
- Assist the VP and supporting the Regional Managers (RMs) from various regions in the generation and qualification of leads for subsequent development.
- Assist the VP in key account planning to identify, develop, and close business opportunities in support of business plan and strategic objectives. Supporting the RMs to maintain favorable long-term business relationships with key accounts.
- Assist the RMs in making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs while selling to customers in the various regions. Assist in developing technical specifications that support product position.
- Take lead in reviewing, developing and renewing marketing resources.
- Managing and facilitating the local agents within the assigned countries to ensure adequate resources available for Sales & Marketing works and to meet the sales plan.
- Take lead and work closely with Commercial team on the prequalification process with regards to bidding a project.
- Work closely with the Commercial team to ensure the market information is understood and the right strategies are employed with regards to bidding a project.
- Assist the RMs in delivering and negotiating quotes, tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
- Support RMs in all project engagements from introduction and qualification to final project delivery into production efficiently transition involvement of Commercial, Project team, manufacturing team, and associated engineering teams.
- Assists the VP in analysing costs and sales result of a project.
- Provide product training and producing support material for agents and other members of the sales team.
- Preparing reports for corporate office and keeping customer records accordingly;
- Supporting marketing activities through participating in exhibitions, trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
