**What the role is**

Asst/Deputy Manager (Applications, Software Architect)

**What you will be working on**
- Provide experienced technical leadership and direction for digital services
- Review existing design and implement solutions for improvement from performance, security and usability perspectives
- Design, develop and deploy cloud solutions on Government Commercial Cloud and commercial cloud
- Involved in procurement and vendor management
- Develop risk identification, quantification and mitigation plan
- Understand and ensure compliance with IM8 policies and guidelines
- Prepare technical documentation and design, and conduct sharing sessions
- Improve relevant work systems, processes and SOPs to achieve consistent results
- Good knowledge of next-generation IT, such as cloud technology, IoT, data analytics, WOG Central services, system architecture, etc.

**What we are looking for**
- Formal qualification in Computer Science/Computer Technology or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of working experience in digital service implementation and vendor management
- Hands-on experience across the spectrum of Web and mobile technologies, such as Microsoft.NET technologies (e.g. C#, ASP.NET MVC 5), HTML5, JQuery, JavaScript, CSS, Microsoft SQL Server/Oracle database management system, Swift for iOS platform and/or Java for Android are essential
- Experience in using Agile methodology and design thinking in project implementation

PREREQUISITES
- A good understanding of next-generation IT, such as cloud technology on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, AI, Machine Learning, IoT, data analytics, ICT security, etc is preferred. Cloud certification will have added advantage
- Strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Able to stay constantly updated with industry trends and new technologies and recommend new technology to meet architectural needs
- Able to work independently and communicate with different levels in the organisation.
- Understanding deployment automation and CI/CD processes and toolchains will have added advantage
