**Primary Objectives**
Develops a strategic and comprehensive marketing & communications strategy and leads it’s execution. Ensures deep marketing effectiveness across regional remit to drive the highest ROI marketing effectiveness, all while holding an entrepreneurial, agile and learn management mindset.
**Key Responsibilities**
The role will be a key player in the newly evolved M&C organisation and part of the International Markets M&C team will be a key player in a global business which is critical to the success of NielsenIQ
The Marketing Acceleration Lead should be capable of leveraging and effectively communicating NielsenIQ’s unique and substantial customer solutions, its branding internally and externally, raise further market awareness of the business and drive positioning initiatives.
The Marketing Acceleration Lead will provide leadership across numerous marketing disciplines, including supporting demand generation and sales leads and enablement; channel development initiatives, market intelligence and segmentation, and public relations.
The Marketing Acceleration Lead will:
- Devise and implement truly innovative M&C campaigns that will resonate and inspire external customers, including calls to action and other methods that are targeted and designed to drive business growth;
- Protect and defend the NielsenIQ brand
- Recruit great people and mentor wherever possible within Nielsen and especially in the company’s evolving global marketing organization.
- Introduce innovative marketing programs and communications to build trust in the market and drive demand for NielsenIQ
- Find opportunities to leverage data and identify potential additional revenue streams
- Ensure efforts to drive significant lead generation and maximize ROI;
- Introduce leading-edge marketing via innovative/disruptive approaches which could capture customer mindshare and build brand awareness.
- Work with the SVP M&C Lead for Int Markets to turn thought leadership content into effective offers and collateral such as webcasts and white papers;
- Work closely with Marketing Leadership to drive internal communications and events, all of which can be powerful internal and external culture builders.
- Lead media/PR strategy, working closely with and/or supporting the parent’s initiatives.
- Work with Commercial leadership to build and strengthen relationships with customers of NielsenIQ;
- Manage insight and vision as marketed to customers and a rational communications approach to new market entries.
- Be a dedicated team player and partner to the SVP M&C Lead and senior team of NielsenIQ, while requiring a minimum of direction.
**Qualifications**
- [Bachelor’s / Master’s] degree in marketing, communications or business
- At least [5+] years of marketing, communications or related commercial experience, in FMCG B2B environment, preferably executing some of the same tasks to be managed in the role
- Experience in digital marketing or related role focussed on awareness and content creation, lead generation and social media (SEO experience is an advantage)
- Experience with ERP/CRM and marketing platforms e.g. Microsoft Dynamics as well as paid social media, search engine marketing, Google Analytics, PowerBI, Sprinklr, Excel
- Experience in analyzing campaign effectiveness at each level of the funnel
**Skills**
- Confident, critical and creative thinking
- Self-driven and initiative, trying new techniques or testing existing ones.
- Ability to adapt based on data, keeping a pulse on metrics.
- Cosmopolitan international responsibility and cross-cultural sensitivity
- Strong communication skills, oral and writing - promotional texts, business writing for content marketing, social media and other top of the funnel channels. This role requires interacting with Commercial teams, Marketing and Communications on a regular basis. It is important that the individual not only communicates campaign logistics, but also about the performance and reinforces that campaigns are based on what will truly resonate with the intended audience.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), additional European languages would be an advantage.
- Hard skills - Tech-savvy, MS Office Suite, Wordpress, website metrics and marketing CRM/software tools
