[What the role is]
Senior / Executive Data & Software Engineer

[What you will be working on]
we spearhead the national effort to deploy autonomous vehicles (AVs) in Singapore. You will work on systems that will shape the future of urban transportation and access to state-of-the-art technologies and development tools as well as opportunity to influence global standards in AV regulation. You will lead complex technical projects from conception to deployment and develop expertise across multiple domains (AI, robotics, systems architecture) as well as collaborate with industry experts and thought leaders. In your role, you will have direct contribution to Singapore's Smart Nation initiative and the opportunity to shape national transportation safety standards and work that influences millions of live

You will be involved in:
Innovation & Development:

- Architect end-to-end systems for AV monitoring, testing, and analysis
- Design and implement novel approaches for route difficulty assessment
- Create advanced simulation environments for AV testing
- Build real-time monitoring and surveillance systems

Technical Leadership:

- Drive the development of innovative regulatory solutions
- Lead the design of complex system architectures
- Mentor team members in technical best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements

Strategic Thinking:

- Identify opportunities for technological advancement in AV regulation
- Develop creative solutions to complex regulatory challenges
- Bridge the gap between technical capabilities and regulatory needs

[What we are looking for]
- Knowledge in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or related fields
- Specialisation in AI, Robotics, or Systems Engineering would be advantageous
- At least 1 year of relevant experience and those without experience are welcome to apply
- Strong programming capabilities in Python, Java, or C++
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Proficiency in data analytics and visualisation
- Version control and collaborative development tools
- System architecture design and implementation
- Experience with simulation environments (automotive/robotics)
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles
- Knowledge of AV technologies and challenges
- Ability to engage multiple internal and external stakeholders, with skills to listen empathetically, sense dynamics, collaborate and negotiate to achieve desired outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to pick up new skills/domain knowledge and adapt quickly is essential
- Intellectual curiosity and clear logical and systems thinking, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies
- Proactive, goal-oriented, and able to operate under tight timelines
