**What the role is**
- The role is for Facilities Management & Development Works of nursery and farm plots for the landscape, orchid and ornamental fish sectors. The position is part of a team that plan and develop space, buildings and infrastructure for these sectors.
**What you will be working on**
- Duties will include: - Maintenance of state buildings and properties
- Maintenance work for new farm plots
- Assist in the managing the development contracts to prepare farm and nursery land
- Works required will include the management & coordination of surveyors, consultants, contractors and the relevant technical agencies.
- Setting up facilities management SOP for a new IT system
- Work with internal teams and external parties to plan and develop a steady supply of space, buildings and infrastructure for the landscape nursery, orchid and ornamental fish industry
- Carry out regular ground sensing and engagement with nurseries and farm i.e. site visits to obtain first-hand direct observations
**What we are looking for**
- Degree in Real Estate, Civil Engineering or other related fields of study
- Good listening and interpersonal skills are essential as this position involves interacting with a wide range of industry partners. Ability to speak Mandarin and dialects will be an advantage to engage stakeholders who may not be English speaking
- Strong analytical, planning, organising and presentation skills
