Position Description

Essential Job Functions
- Leads and coaches a team of accountants responsible for day-to-day accounting, including general ledger integrity and accuracy, and bank and G/L account reconciliations;
- Responsible for the execution of month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities, including financial reporting and audits;
- Support the formulation, implementation and execution of control systems within the organization;
- Management of APAC Group consolidation reporting.
- Oversee the annual external audit cycle and submission of audited accounts for Board’s approval.
- Work with Tax and Legal to ensure compliance of Vantage APAC’s companies in respective local jurisdictions

Duties
- Manage various accounting functions for efficient processing and accurate financial reporting, including, but not limited to:

- Deliver financial reports and management accounts according to timeframes as decided by the Company
- Financial reporting in accordance with relevant local and international accounting standards
- Liaise with external advisors/auditors for audits, tax filings, registration, and other corporate matters
- Implement best practices to manage Company’s financial and business risks, including, but not limited to:

- Develop, review and maintain Company’s accounting/financial policies and processes, to ensure consistency and compliance with statutory requirements and Company standards
- Coordinate with other departments to develop and maintain financial operations workflows
- Provide financial analysis, budgetary planning, and corporate reporting
- Stay up-to-date on applicable regulations and policies relating to the ownership/investment structure, financials and tax aspects of the Company
- Business partnering with other cross functional teams to identify drivers of financial performance and support business growth
- Evaluate financial reporting systems and recommend, lead proposed improvement changes in processes
- Participates in special projects including M&A and financing
- Advise senior management on any critical trends in relation to the financial performance of the company
- Reviews and approves accounting documents per the company’s workflows
- Promote a strong culture of cooperation within the team
- Train, oversee, coach, develop, provide assistance to and evaluate the performance of team members
- Management of APAC Group consolidation reporting.
