**Job Description: Retail Inventory and Reconciliation Specialist
**Position Title**:Retail Inventory and Reconciliation Specialist
**Location**:Bedok
**Reports To**:Operations Manager

**Job Summary:
**Key Responsibilities:
**1. Stock Tracking and Management**:

- Update stock details in the Point of Sale (POS) system upon arrival.
- Ensure buy and sell prices are accurately reflected in the system.
- Monitor stock levels and reconcile any discrepancies between orders and sales.
- Validate the expiry dates of items, remove expired items from shelves, and coordinate returns to suppliers.

2. **Sales Tracking and Financial Reconciliation**:

- Maintain records of all sales transactions.
- Cross-validate sales data with amounts received in the bank account to ensure accuracy.
- Generate and analyse sales reports to identify trends and discrepancies.

3. **Invoice and Supplier Management**:

- Track all invoices from suppliers, ensuring timely payments.
- Reconcile supplier invoices with received goods to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a record of paid and unpaid invoices, following up on any discrepancies.

4. **Delivery Tracking and Customer Payments**:

- Track deliveries to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers.
- Ensure that all deliveries are accounted for and verify delivery details against orders.
- Confirm that payments for deliveries are received and accurately recorded.
- Follow up with customers regarding any outstanding payments for deliveries

5. **Reporting and Documentation**:

- Prepare regular reports on inventory status, sales performance, and financial reconciliation.
- Document all inventory movements and adjustments accurately.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all transactions and communications with suppliers and customers.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in inventory management, stock control, or a related field within the retail sector.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and inventory management software.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in inventory management or accounting is advantageous.
