**About the Role - Application Support Analyst (On Site)
The successful individual will be able to find solutions to complex problems whilst holding to the highest level with regards to quality and technical expertise. Working as part of a global support team, the ability to build productive working relationships with colleagues in offices around the world will make you successful in this role.

This is an on-site role, based in our Singapore Downtown office with occasional visits to client premises.

**Specific Duties
- Respond promptly to support requests and inquiries from clients.
- Actively monitor and respond to alerts for the company’s critical systems and infrastructure.
- Support customers and resolve issues related to order entry, risk management, and exchange connectivity.
- Conduct analysis of complex order and trade histories.
- Work directly with new customers to coordinate the deployment and configuration of the company’s products.
- Manage distribution and installation of software enhancements and upgrades.
- Work directly with various exchanges and Stellar’s internal software engineers to test and conform new software releases.
- Work with Stellar’s infrastructure team to test and complete various server and network upgrade projects.
- Configuring and troubleshooting global exchange gateways including connections to CME, EUREX, JPX, SGX, HKFE and SHFE using a range of protocols including ITCH/OUCH, OmNet and FIX.

- perform well and be comfortable in high-pressure or time critical situations, whilst always maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- be willing to assume responsibility and make timely decisions,including to escalate when appropriate.
- have effective verbal and written communication skills.
- be able to perform basic network troubleshooting and configuration tasks using tools such as telnet, ssh, tcpdump and ncat.

**Any of these will help you in the role
- Knowledge of or experience with message middleware packages.
- Experience with or knowledge of cloud-based technologies such as AWS.
- Knowledge of relational database systems and knowledge of SQL queries.
