**What the role is**
- About Outward Bound Singapore - a division of National Youth Council (NYC) Outward Bound Singapore (OBS) is a member of Outward Bound International - a global network of Outward Bound schools operating in 35 countries. You will be part of the Sector Development team at OBS, supporting the Outdoor Adventure Education (OAE) Council to uplift the standards and safety of Singapore’s OAE sector, in support of the National OAE Masterplan.

**What you will be working on**
- As the Manager / Senior Manager, Sector Development (Operations Implementation), you will plan, develop, implement and review the operational aspects of safety governance framework (including education, standards, certification, accreditation, registration and compliance) to deliver the OAE Council’s mandate of building capacity and capabilities of the OAE sector. If you have 6 to 8 years of relevant experience, you can be appointed as Senior Manager. You will plan and develop the operational aspects of the safety governance framework: - Identify and prioritise all objects (documents, tools and structures) as well as business and work processes in the different sections of safety governance framework in a holistic manner;
- Distil complex information and establish detailed process maps including implementing procedures for the OAE stakeholders; and - Continuously review and edit the process maps. Thereafter, you will also design and drive the operational-level implementation of the safety governance framework by: - Utilising established process maps to coordinate implementations such as grants and funding, education of OAE community and member of public, adoption and clarification of standards, and registration and certification of OAE providers;
- Disseminating processes in an easy-to-understand manner and ensure outreach to the right stakeholders;
- Gathering feedback from OAE stakeholders impacted by implementation; and - Proposing and designing alternative mechanisms, aligned to measurement tools. To support the adoption of the safety governance framework by the OAE sector, you will also source for opportunities and establish partnerships with other government agencies relevant to the OAE Sector. You will partner, build and maintain strong relationships with other government agencies to assess, identify and avail grants, supports, frameworks and memberships that will benefit OAE sector employee’s professional development as well as OAE providers’ quality of safety and services.
