Roles & Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Associate to join our Central Executive team in Singapore.

The Central Executive Group (CEX) comprises the offices of the CEO, Deputy CEO, and regional leadership. Working as part of the Central Executive Group in Singapore, you will support senior leaders across the business to develop and drive regional strategic initiatives including cross-divisional collaboration initiatives, DEI initiatives and management of risk and reputation in the Asia region. You will also assist in monitoring and reporting on the performance and operations of Macquarie’s Asia platform.

Joining at Senior Associate level, you will have the opportunity to assume real responsibility, by working on projects that will drive key strategic initiatives and decisions with respect to Macquarie in Asia. You will support the development of key client and stakeholder relationships including engaging with banks and regulators. You will also be responsible for supporting the team by monitoring and analysing the performance and operations of the Asia platform, providing regular regional updates to Head Office in Sydney, including the Board and Management Committees.

You must be confident in presenting your point of view and possess a natural curiosity for the business. You will be a team player and a strong communicator. You will be well versed with financial models and valuation concepts and strong PowerPoint skills are essential. You must be comfortable working across countries within the Asia region. You must be comfortable interacting with senior leaders of our business. You must be detail orientated and comfortable preparing presentations and materials to a very high standard. Fluency in English is essential.
