Within the Division, the Quality Systems & Planning team examines current research, standards and trends and translates them into new approaches to advance the quality of community care, working closely with AIC Divisions, Community Care Organisations (CCOs), Regional Health Systems, Ministry of Health (MOH), and other stakeholders. The team’s current focus areas include quality management, quality assurance, quality measurement and building a quality culture within the sector.
**Responsibilities**:
- Drive and manage the development of quality standards for the Community Care sector and pilot quality assurance, through- Researching suitable international standards, assess and select standards that best meet the needs of the sector
- Securing funding for the appointment of a vendor(s) to contextualise the standards
- Planning and executing a pilot to implement a quality assurance programme with a few CCOs
- Managing the budget, procurement and contract matters with appointed vendor(s)
- Assist in the development of the evaluation approach for the pilot, as well as data collection
- Identify areas for capability building and develop resources with the aim of enabling the CCOs to improve and work towards achieving the quality standards, including- Reviewing quality-related training for the sector and working with AIC divisions and training partners to close any training gaps
- Strengthen leadership and quality culture within the sector, through- Reviewing best practices and developing initiatives to enable a stronger quality culture and leadership behaviours that drive improvement and innovation
- Developing and rolling out a quality culture assessment tool with CCOs to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement
- Support and align sector enablement strategies for the sector through- Working closely with AIC divisions to ensure synergy with other sector enablement strategies (e.g. manpower, digitalisation) to achieve the sector goals
- Reviewing and developing new initiatives to address emerging needs and care models, e.g. person-centred care, quality of life
**Job Requirements**:
- At least 6 to 8 years of relevant experience
- Experience in a planning or quality role and knowledge of the community care sector would be an advantage
- Strong project management skills and is self-motivated and proactive
- Effective interpersonal and engagement skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for quality and ageing issues
- Resilient and results-oriented
