Solutions Architect

**Position Name: Solution Architect -Routing and Switching
**Job Description:
We are looking for a Network Architect, who will be responsible for analyzing, designing and developing commercially viable end-to-end technical solutions for the enterprise customers. In this role, you will also be accountable for providing cutting edge solution by translating customer needs, and technology opportunities into detailed technical offering, solutions and proposals. Not mandatory added knowledge on Security and Virtualization will be added advantage
- Perform on-going assessment and analysis of cost and benefits of existing network infrastructure and identify and recommend implementation of creative solutions to ensure underlying architecture of all networks results in maximum performance and functionality for user community.
- Perform technical reviews of new technologies and upgrades to assist in planning and timing of implementation to ensure improvements are achieved and planned benefits are realized as anticipated with mínimal impact and interruption to user community.
- Provide architectural consulting expertise, direction, and assistance to systems analysts, IT cloud engineers, and other systems architects.
- Experienced with Data Centre consolidation as well as expert on BGP and dynamic routing protocols
- Scope, define and design solution offerings and driving end-to-end technical solutions
- Experience in delivering professional services to external Customers, from the initial detailed Solution Design, through to Implementation and Customer Acceptance customization, including proof of concepts, Solution Design Consultation, Stand-Alone and Inter-Operability Testing, Customer training and on-site support
- Participate in product definition and architecture, and support engineering teams in design, scoping, planning, and implementation.
- Architect, design and develop advanced Routing/MPLS/Segment Routing, service features and capabilities in a switching/routing system.
- Work closely with key customers across the Globe, to develop solutions that address their immediate and future needs
- Deliver detailed functional requirements and influence technical designs for packet switching software architectures and network management
- Creation of BOQ/ BOM, HLD and LLD
- Expert level knowledge in Cisco Routing (BGP, MPLS, OSPF), Switching and Any of leading Firewall technologies is expected as primary skill, Good to have Vmware and scripting skills
- Independently can create and work on complex configuration as well as participate in validating critical change reviews for deployment
- Maintain technical documents along with diagrams in Visio / appropriate medium all the time
- Performs research, operation studies, design reviews, and technical briefings with clients
- Provide escalation support on Priority 1 business impacting issue
- Advanced troubleshooting and debug knowledge using appropriate tools and ability to troubleshoot issues step by step
- Provides advice, recommendations, and technical support to customers
- Design, develop and document high level design for the following components:

- Data Centre Network Devices [Routers, Switches, Servers, Firewalls, Storage]
- Well versed with Cisco Nexus, ACI deployments
- Maintain and own product life cycle management for entire Data Centre Devices (Hardware and Software Refresh)

**Relevant technologies & Tools**:

- Data Centre Network Technologies Implementation
- Expert in Routing, Switching & Security
- Good understanding and practical experience with routing protocols (EIGRP, OSFP, and BGP)
- Good understanding and practical experience with switching technologies (Spanning tree, EtherChannel, Port Security, 802.1X, MAB)
- Hands-on experience with core LAN/WAN/SDN and SD-WAN technologies
- Familiarity with Virtual Private Network (VPN) and firewall technologies (Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, Check Point, etc)
- Strong knowledge on STP, VTP, Community VLAN, Isolated VLAN, Port security, Stacking of Switches, 802.1Q, OSFP, BGP
- Excellent hands on in configuring IPSec Tunnels (Site to Site and Remote)
- Advanced skill set with Wireshark and other debugging tools is expected (tcpdump, wireshark, tshark)
- Excellent hands on in configuring SSL VPN
- Excellent knowledge on traffic shaping and QoS
- Experience of Cisco-Prime/ DNA NCM/ IPAM will add advantage
- Experience in Linux flavors (Ubuntu)
- Adept at Linux networking stack, such as iptables, iptools, iprules
- Knowledge of any leading SDWAN solution will be added advantage
- Knowledge of Perl / Python with automation ability is plus
