**What the role is**

We are looking for a driven individual to be part of the team driving leadership and staff development within HTX.
**What you will be working on**
- Job Scope Reporting to DD (Leadership and Development), the job holder will manage the talent management and development effort of HTX where the objective is to build deep tech leadership bench strength. You will develop and implement leadership development, talent identification and management as well as succession planning strategies and processes, to support a high performing, technically capable, and innovative workforce. The portfolios may include the development of HTX leaders, scholars, HTX Associates as well as other high potential science and tech talent. Apart from engaging these groups of officers, you may also be involved in a suite of talent development initiatives such as co-developing career pathways for various groups of officers, career coaching, etc.

Personal Characteristics & Behaviours He / She: -should have a heart for people development and enjoys engaging officers and helping them to develop their career. -must have strong communication skills, as the job involves frequent engagement with senior management, as well as stakeholders such as other public agencies’ Leadership Development and HR teams on joint talent development initiatives, etc. -must be able to prioritise and manage multiple work deliverables within a fast-paced environment. -must be a self-starter - need to be able to envision and drive the implementation of new strategies suitable for a technically-oriented workforce, while continuing to leverage the existing best practices in the public service, including the Ministry of Home Affairs.
