The Technology group delivers the groups information technology functions to ensure the highest levels of customer service through excellent process excellence and technology innovation.
**Your **team**:
Our team is composed of engineers and technology leaders, who bring in the right mix of skills to enable this transformation. We also work very closely with our business and operations colleagues to support these services which are critical to the Australian and Global economy.
Working as part of the CDAO Senior Leadership team, you will be accountable for prioritizing, coordinating, and leading the execution of technical platform delivery and service management across the Analytics domain.
**Your **impact **& contribution**:
The role is the Executive Manager - Data Scientist of the Analytics team responsible for building the Data Analytics organization within our Indian Office. Y ou will be part of the BBT Senior Leadership team and will be responsible for prioritizing, coordinating and leading the execution of technical platform delivery and service management activities for the Business Banking group.

Direct line reporting into the GM, Analytics India
**Your responsibilities**:
Work side by side with Technology leaders, Product Owners and all extended CBA team members to:
- The EM Data Science will be responsible for development and implementation of innovative data-driven solutions that drive business growth.
- Be prepared to engage in strategic and technical leadership when necessary to support the team and further data science initiatives.
- Collaborate with Sydney collaborators to find opportunities where data science can drive business value.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science and find opportunities to demonstrate these advancements to enhance our products and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of data-driven solutions.
- Act as a key liaison between the Sydney commercial team and the India-based data science team. Bring a friendly and “can-do” attitude and teamwork and inspire others on culture change.
**Your skills & Your Experience**:
- Looking for an experienced AI leader who can inspire a large team of data scientist as a technical leader, and innovation thinker and someone that can make things happen. This leader needs to be a self-driven individual who is willing propose changes, as well as execute them.
- We are looking for someone who is aware of the AI landscape, and it can ensure the bank stays in the cutting edge of the technology and is never surprised when something new hits the market.
- Great structured thinker & creative problem solver who can design and deliver solutions that meet stakeholder needs while powering through many constraints and dependencies.
- A senior leader who is aware of the larger data science landscape, who leans in and partners across multiple stakeholders to build alliances and deliver valuable and usable tools and insights.
- Experience in building teams and good understanding of global team management as well as operating model.
- Experience of managing a large team of people along with the technical expertise to provide direction when needed to deliver high performance outcomes.
- A deep industry and technical knowledge
- Ability to coordinate and engage with multiple stakeholders (both business and technology) and following the procedures and escalation process.
- Experience in leading service management teams with exposure to handling high severity and time critical incidents.
- Outstanding delivery and running of large and complex technology programs.
- Detailed knowledge of systems management process, including exposure to establishing incident management process
- Team management skills, with exposure to managing multiple teams and different areas of the bank.
- Ability to lead and inspire people to deliver exceptional outcomes and to drive a performance culture.
- Experience in agile methods at scale, experiment driven innovation, and a measurement culture.
**Your Qualifications**:
- Education: Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in data science, with 5+ years of experience in core technology organization
- Build, lead and grow a team of data and software engineers.
