Shipbrokers act as intermediaries between two parties in the shipping industry.

We are now looking for a Broker to join our vibrant business, based in our Singapore office.

**Key Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Head of Dry Cargo based in London, you will work alongside colleagues in our Singapore office to gain exposure to the full shipping markets.

Job Responsibilities:

- Fixing dry cargo vessels and/or cargoes in the Cape market segment.
- Liaising with the Group’s global offices, where necessary, to optimise business across the Group.
- Expanding and developing contacts with principals from both Owners and Charterers.
- Preparing charter parties and other necessary fixture documentation, where required.

**Education, Experience and Skills**

You should have:

- A commercial/business degree or an associated shipping qualification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent numeracy skills and the ability to analyse and present market data.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in competitive broking in Dry Cargo.
- In-depth understanding of the shipping industry.
