**MISSIONS**

**PRIMARY OBJECTIVES**:
+ Deliver quality back-office support to business lines and customers.

+ Lead and Contribute to regional business developments while minimizing operational risks.

+ Understand digital solutions available for trade finance, onboard and promote usage of digital solution in line with group roadmap to both client and internal stake holders.

+ Develop and motivate employees of the department efficiently, keeping staff engaged on the Bank’s mission.

+ Lead and inspire employees to meet mission target & objectives.

+ Foster professional relationships with middle office, front office & other related departments

**MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES/PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:
+ Comply with the regulations, rules and procedures, internal and external applicable in the context of its function and follow the compulsory training

+ Manage operations of assigned clients and ensure that daily transactions are processed accurately and promptly in accordance with trade finance rules/guidelines (UCP 600, ISBP, URC 522, URR 725, ISP 98, URDG 758 etc.) and bank’s procedures

+ Manage daily capacity dashboard to ensure even capacity allocation and ensure timely execution of all products and activities

+ Identify potential roadblock/ red flag in daily processing and escalate for further review and decision

+ Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and achieve high level of client satisfaction.

+ Spearhead development in new product matters and digital advancements / initiatives.

+ Strategic planning on operational developments, projects, and initiatives.

+ Complete periodic policy updates and review.

+ Monitor Back Office performance indicators & statistics.

+ Escalate abnormal trade and business line developments.

**PROFILE**

**ACADEMIC BACKGROUND AND CERTIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE**

+ Sound business knowledge on global financing especially on structured finance and trade commodity finance

+ Solid understanding of Banking Products, Accounting, Operations, Risk Monitoring, Information Systems, Regulations and Compliance rules

+ Establishes a clear framework for self and others, in which risk can be identified, assessed, and managed

+ Ability to quickly analyse and interpret business processes.

+ Experienced in leading change management projects, which involves formalizing business requirements, leading user acceptance tests (UAT) and evaluating the outcome delivered.

+ Proven track record in ability to analyse and work quickly to identify and resolve problems

+ Adaptable, with strong communication skills to interact effectively with people at all levels to produce results

+ Understand elements, dynamics and interdependence of organization’s structure, business processes, management systems, and diverse cultures in sustaining change
+ Knowledge of HKMA/MAS/FATF guidelines and experience in areas of commodity financing and payments.
