Conference Producer

Reporting to the Project Director, your main role is to produce commercially viable conferences for the Company. You will research and identify the right market segment, develop the programme and secure the speakers. You will plan and implement the marketing plan, including the promotion. Working closely with the telesales team, you will be responsible for the conference delegate attendance. You will have good networking skills and able to liaise with trade associations, government bodies and various trade committees.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work independently or with industry project teams/industry partners to develop relevant programme content for conferences associated with the various industry segments that Reed Exhibitions is currently involved in
- Oversee the development of the relevant programme content and provide related marketing inputs for the successful delivery of the conferences
- Oversee and provide relevant inputs on related operations and logistics requirements for successful delivery of the conferences, including delegates' and speakers' administration
- Responsible for the successful delivery and execution of the planned conferences

**Requirements**:

- Degree with at least 3 years’ relevant experience in a B2B conference producing environment. Prior working experience and strong track record in a Conference Company is essential
- Ability to research and identify conference opportunities
- Ability to market the conference with strong paid participation
- Good communications and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational abilities, with a strong eye for details
- Self-starter; work independently; multi-tasking / multi-skills
- Creative and enterprising
