The Role

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Expand Everest Re business profitably in the targeted lines of business in India
- Provide end-to-end ownership from opportunity identification, deal origination to its conclusion
- Develop successful relationships with clients and brokers
- Work with team on deals maintenance including data management and operational processes
- Provide best in class service to our clients and brokers
- Undertake various business planning projects and research activities
- Represent Everest at internal and external meetings with brokers, clients and other customers / stakeholders as required, including Third Party administrators of services critical to the business.
- Business travel as required to support the above objectives

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role preferably in Reinsurance / Consulting / Broking / Analytical/ Insurance Companies
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree. However, progress towards Actuarial or Financial or professional Insurance qualification or master’s degree will be an added advantage
- Established clients / broking relationships in Indian market
- Strong analytical, computing and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in Hindi is a plus
- Ability to stay organized in a fast paced and high intensity work environment with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks
- Willing to take initiative, function independently and be entrepreneurial with the highest standards of ethics and professionalism
