**Position Overview**

The Corporate Finance Analyst is someone with strong financial acumen and the ability to turn numbers into insights. The incumbent will analyze prospective business performance and affecting factors to provide advice to the business on project costs, investments, and be responsible for the execution of financial advisory transactions, assist in the origination of new opportunities, and other business activities.

Transport Capital's financial advisory transactions include debt and equity raising, debt restructuring, and M&A in the transportation sector.

**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**
- Conduct industry, market, and company-specific research.
- Assist in the execution of debt raising and M&A advisory transactions, including performing financial analysis and firm valuation, managing the due diligence process, and preparing meeting materials.
- Create and/or work with complex financial models which support the analysis of companies. This will frequently require creating detailed proforma models.
- Develop transaction marketing materials, including pitch books, teasers, confidential information memorandums, and management presentations.
- Build relationships and maintain contact with established and prospective clients and professional advisors.
- Perform other duties as required.

**Relationship**

This position reports to the Head of Corporate Finance and will be expected to function harmoniously with other members of the management team and foster a spirit of cooperation, collaboration, and teamwork.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related business discipline

**Experience**
- 3 years of relevant experience in banking, M&A advisory, or corporate finance. Training from a reputable investment bank or accounting firm is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office and Financial Modelling is a pre-requisite
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Independent and exercise sound judgment with attention to detail and accuracy.
