[What the role is]
[What you will be working on]
We are looking for an eager and passionate individual to join our Wildlife Management and Outreach (Wildlife) team to support efforts in wildlife population monitoring and management, feedback management and stakeholders’ engagement.
The key duties for the position include the following:
- Oversee small mammal and reptile related encounters, including formulating management policy such as population management strategies, implementing such strategies, feedback management, database management, and involvement in applied ecological research.
- Oversee and implement wildlife-related outreach programmes and engagements for the community, stakeholder groups and agencies.
[What we are looking for]
- Areas of study in Biological, Environmental Science, or related field is preferred
- Relevant working experience in wildlife operations and public engagement
- Demonstrate punctuality and adherence to operational schedules
- An organized, creative, and resourceful team player who is able to work independently with good interpersonal skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Able to multi-task in performing a diverse range of duties, including enforcement when required
- Enjoy working in an outdoor field environment
- Willing to work on weekends and after office hours
