Deputy Director/ Wildlife Management

**What the role is**
- We are looking for an eager and passionate individual to join our Wildlife Management and Outreach team to support the following tasks:
**What you will be working on**
- Lead and guide a team of officers in handling feedback and implementing management plans for human wildlife encounters.
- Spearhead the development of operational guidelines, workflows and processes relevant to the mitigation of human wildlife encounters
- Provide technical inputs to agencies to manage impact and implementation of species action plans
- Engage, interact and work with different stakeholders including government agencies, town councils, contractors and interest groups
**What we are looking for**
- Degree in Life Science, Biological Science, Environment Science, Conservation Biology, Zoology or any related discipline
- With more than 5 years of relevant working experience in public engagement and/or working with animals
- Preferably with experience leading a high performance team
- Strong written and oral communications are important traits
- Possess good presentation, negotiation and communication skills and able to work independently in a fast paced environment
- Experience and skills in mediation and conflict resolution
- Keen interest in working outdoors and interacting with people
- Willing to work on weekends and after office hours
