EHS & Maintenance Lead

IFF is seeking a result driven individual to join IFF Manufacturing team as **EHS & Maintenance Lead**. This role is based out of Singapore and will report to the Plant Manager.

**Your Focus**

As EHS & Maintenance Lead, you will lead the plant Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and Maintenance activities. Promote and support operational excellence, continuous improvement in EHS, quality, ISO, GMP, HACCP and food safety, plant reliability, mechanical integrity, flexibility, agility, and efficiency.

This role will utilize your technical background and people management skills to lead the team, foster ownership mindset and, wining together culture to be our customer partner of choice and consistently deliver results.

**How You Will Contribute**
- Organize and develop annual objectives, improvements, developments, and budgeting. Pursue EHS excellence and plant reliability, efficiency, and costs optimizations.
- Foster an environment with open communication and feedback
- Manage and optimize plant maintenance, related processes, and systems. Focusing on safety, regulatory compliances, reliability, quality, efficiencies, and cost effectiveness. Pursue proactiveness in maintenance planning and adopt best practices, including creating, implementing, and monitoring work processes to achieve compliance with EHS, mechanical integrity, regulatory and corporate standards.
- Plant EHS & Maintenance resource in supporting plant EHS compliance with corporate EHS policies, local WSH regulatory requirements, reliability, and maintenance.
- Engage, collaborate, and network with global EHS and Reliability and Maintenance resources and train plant resources in driving EHS and maintenance excellence.
- Key contact person for plant equipment, facilities service agreements or contracts management. Manage service providers and contractors in compliance with Contractors Management requirements to ensure meeting EHS, quality and sourcing policies and requirements.
- Organize resources and active in performance management i.e., goal settings and managing performances, feedback, coaching, counselling, recognition, and rewards
- Lead identification analysis and problem resolution. Provide expert level innovation in EHS and Maintenance, lead root-cause analysis and troubleshooting in maintenance processes, plant maintenance, reliability and EHS events. Engage, seek, and take guidance from various supporting resources and manage action items towards timely closure.
- Proactive participation in EHS & Maintenance activities and initiatives, member of Global EHS and Reliability & Maintenance community.
- Engage and collaborate with cross functional and regional teams to create, implement, and monitor performance metrics to identify continuous improvements in safety, quality, manufacturing processes, reliability and energy optimization.

**Job Requirements**:
**What you will need to be successful**
- Degree in Science Engineering or any relevant disciplines.
- Minimum 5 to 10 years’ plant maintenance experience related to Animal Nutrition. Grain Processing (dry blending or liquid formulation) blending or food manufacturing industry, additional Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) experience preferred.
- Knowledge of FSSC22000, FAMI-QS, HACCP, GMP and Workplace Safety and Health regulations and practices.
- Familiar with PLC based automation in manufacturing processes.
- Familiar with working in a collaborative global support resources and best practice sharing environments.
- Working experience in dealing with Singapore regulatory agencies (NEA, AVA, MOM, SFA, etc).
- Good planning, organizing and communication skills.
- Work independently and under tight time constraints.
