Regional Partnership Program Lead

**Job Purpose**:
The purpose of the role is to support the Life and Health Partnerships Team for the delivery of the enhanced Asia regional bancassurance partnership of Allianz. The program manager is expected to work collaboratively with across various countries and functions in AZAP, OEs (countries in scope: TW, ID, MY, PH, CN, SL), external vendors and with the bank partner (regional and country level).
This role will project manage all of the activities that fall under this program across the entire region and is responsible for delivery of the key initaitives of strategic pillars under the enhanced partnership mode, including but not limited to target operating model implementation, business solutions delivery, project financial management and reporting, risk and issue management, governance of the delivery pipeline and approach. The Program Manager would work in closely with various levels of management, internal and external stakeholders and parties in areas such as assessing, documenting and budgeting potential projects and planning their delivery to achieve the enhanced partnership goals.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manages the program management covering a wide range of cross functional and country initiatives including but not limited to:
- Daily program management
- Defining the program goverance (controls) - work with goverance team
- Managing the program budget.
- Managing risks and issues and taking corrective measurement
- Oversee project initiatives to ensure they are well managed, develop executive presentations of the program and corresponding budget and spend.
- Manage all aspects of change control and risk oversight across the program.
- Coordinating of stakeholder and sponsor communications as well as tracking and reporting project statuses on a timely basis
- Work collaboratively with Technical Delivery Lead/ OE Technical Team and PMs to perform project scheduling, resource planning, levelling and management (forecast impacts on staffing where project scope may have changed) - as well as effective use of metrics, and reporting. Ensuring optimal use of resources across the program.
- Facilitate and oversee the establishment of organizational mechanism to manage the processes of reviewing new proposals and introducing new scope/functionality into the program office.
- Work collaboratively with the country delivery leads, external PMO vendor, Bank partner and Allianz internally on demand requests, processes and procedures through project completion.
- Determine the potential customer impact and service requirements generated by each initiative in the project.
- Responsible to continuous improvement of program management practices and ceremonies ensuring that project team is engaged and informed and that processes and procedures are well documented and communicated
- Provide quality assurance ensuring that both the initiatives and delivery are well managed and adhering to appropriate standards and best practice.
- Recalibrate the program as necessary when the demands of the business dictate a change in delivery or scope of work
**Key Requirements**:
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (both oral and written) with the ability to clearly communicate complex messages to a variety of audiences
- Strong decision making skills. Able to make decisions quickly and efficiently.
- Demonstrated competency in developing and managing complex project plans, timelines, budgets and critical paths.
- Thorough knowledge and related work experience of the project management process.
- Detail-oriented with proven ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and oversee multiple projects, manage schedules, resource allocation/planning and maximize work efforts across all teams.
- Possess excellent prioritization, resource planning and management skills as well as proven ability in the identification, assessment and contingency planning and managing for risk factors.
- Proven competency to effectively interact at all levels across the organization, working to build and maintain successful relationships across all departments.
- Proven competency in business analysis, requirements definition, and business case production.
- Proven consultative, conflict resolution, negotiation and facilitation skills to gain consensus and ensure delivery of initiatives.
- Demonstrated flexibility and be able to work in a time-sensitive environment and meet strict deadlines with sudden and unpredictable changes that may occur.
- Strong track record in delivering similar scaled program management and senior management/partner/stakeholder relationships (ideally 10 years related experience)
- Collaborative, with flexibility of working with different teams in across the company.
- Strong grasp of new technologies, competitive landscapes, marketplace, and the insurance regulatory environment
